MDPPA reported that its first semester sales already hit 932,220 units, 4.6 percent higher than the 890,720 units sold in the same period last year.MDPPA, which is composed of OEM (original equipment manufacturers) Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, and Yamaha, cited the January-July sales as a milestone for the group.

MDPPA President Norminio "Boying" Mojica said that the sales performance during the first semester of this year could potentially mirror that of the subsequent semester.

This aspiration, he added, aims to culminate in an impressive cumulative sale of 1.6 million units by the end of 2023, surpassing the already remarkable 1.5 million sales achieved in the preceding year.
