Anthropic is finalizing a joint venture valued at approximately $1.5 billion with major financial firms, including Blackstone, Goldman Sachs, and Hellman & Friedman, according to a report by The Wall Street Journal.

The initiative aims to provide artificial intelligence tools to companies backed by private equity firms.


Anthropic, Blackstone, and Hellman & Friedman are expected to anchor the deal, each investing roughly $300 million, while Goldman Sachs is expected to contribute about $150 million.


The companies declined to comment on the reported deal.
