Area Of The Brain Linked To Clitoris Grows More With Sex

Israeli researchers have found out that a section of the female brain linked to the clitoris benefits from orgasm, Gid’on Lev reported for Haaretz.

The thickness of this region appears to be related to the frequency of sexual intercourse, but there is still a chance that women having more sex had a thick somatosensory cortex to begin with, Lev said. The study covered 20 women over a period of 12 months.

Until about 200 years ago, it was believed that a man’s semen contained a tiny invisible person who during pregnancy developed in the womb until it reached the size of a baby.

This preformed human was known as homunculus [Latin for “a little man”], and these miniature creatures populated legends.

It could be that this perception led to the ban on male masturbation in various religions, amid the belief that it was tantamount to murder. The clitoris, called the female penis, also does not grow old and expands 300 percent when properly aroused.
