Ateneo And Gordon Ramsay Join Forces

Ateneo's John Gokongwei School of Management (JGSOM), Le Cordon Bleu Ateneo, and Gordon Ramsay Philippines have announced a groundbreaking collaboration.

This unique partnership promises to be an exciting development for culinary education as it will offer students from the BS Restaurant Entrepreneurship (BS RENT) Program and Diplome De Cuisine an extraordinary opportunity to work with and learn from some of the best in the industry.



Leo Vergara, the Ateneo REnt Internship Coordinator, along with Godfrey Laforteza, Executive Chef at Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill, and Ryan Behr, the restaurant's General Manager, recently met to discuss the vast opportunities awaiting BS RENT students at the globally-renowned restaurant's first-ever store in the Philippines, set to open at Newport World Resorts (NWR) in the second quarter of 2024.



The partnership marks a significant milestone in culinary education, as students will have the chance to learn directly from renowned chefs and industry experts.


With a focus on practical experience and real-world application, students can expect to hone their skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.


The partnership is set to take culinary education to new heights, with state-of-the-art facilities and mentorship from Le Cordon Bleu Master Chefs and top industry professionals.



Students will have access to a curated selection of legendary rare breed steaks, grilled specialties, and fresh market seafood at Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill, along with the iconic beef wellington.


Beyond the exciting hands-on experience, this collaboration also aligns with Ateneo JGSOM's mission to develop students into innovators who can respond to the needs of tomorrow’s world.



The BS RENT program is designed to equip students with the skills necessary to eventually become restaurateurs, focusing on conceptualization, daily operations, and market research.
