The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) has revamped its "Bingo for a Cause" program to help local government units (LGUs) and non-government organizations (NGOs) raise more funds for socio-civic initiatives.

PAGCOR's new packages could allow LGUs and NGOs to earn as much as 50% of proceeds from bingo events conducted with the regulator.
PAGCOR Assistant Vice President Maria Teresa Ocampo announced that the new packages could allow LGUs and NGOs to earn as much as 50% of proceeds from bingo events conducted with PAGCOR.
“The revised package offers options to sell tickets from as low as PHP100 to PHP1,000 each, depending on the chosen package,” Ocampo said, noting that ticket sales will further boost proceeds.
The program also allows communities to enjoy bingo games in a legal, regulated manner while supporting worthwhile causes.
Ocampo reminded communities and organizations to coordinate with PAGCOR’s Bingo Department before organizing events, as only PAGCOR is authorized to conduct bingo activities.
