The Tokaido Shinkansen bullet train line will be suspended on Aug. 15 between Nagoya and Shin-Osaka stations due to the approach of Typhoon Lan, Central Japan Railway Co. (JR Tokai) announced on Aug. 13, according to a Mainichi dispatch

According to JR Tokai, the Aug. 15 bullet train service between Tokyo and Nagoya stations will be on a significantly reduced schedule, and all seats will be non-reserved.
