CALIFORNIA'S COUNTIES SLIDING BACK ON REOPENING
Some of California's 58 counties are sliding backward on the state's reopening system as case rates increase across the state, KCRA 3 News said.
Sacramento and Stanislaus counties are moving back to the state's most restrictive purple tier while El Dorado and Placer counties are now in the red tier, according to the California Department of Public Health.
When counties are in the purple tier, restaurants, houses of worship, bars and gyms have to halt indoor operations.
In Sacramento County, the tier change goes into effect at noon on Friday.
