CENTCOM Says 85 Ships Redirected Amid Iran Port Blockade

United States Central Command said in a post on X that the number of commercial vessels redirected amid the ongoing US blockade of Iranian ports had reached 85, ABC News reported.

“CENTCOM continues to strictly enforce the US blockade against Iranian ports,” the command said.


Meanwhile, Iran said through state media that its armed forces are “more prepared and stronger than ever before.”


“We will cut off the hand of any aggressor,” Ali Abdollahi Aliabadi, commander of Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, said in a statement published by the semi-official news outlet Fars.


“We urge the US and its allies not to make strategic mistakes and miscalculations again,” he added.
