Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun warned that the action could escalate tensions and undermine an already fragile ceasefire, according to Karson Yiu for ABC News.

Beijing urged all parties to uphold ceasefire commitments and return to negotiations, emphasizing the need to restore safe navigation through the vital shipping corridor.
