The event focused on key trends and emerging opportunities while honoring visionary banks driving modernization, transformation, and innovation.

Among the top awardees was City Savings Bank of the Philippines, recognized with the Customer Experience Award. As a subsidiary of Union Bank of the Philippines and one of the country’s largest thrift banks, City Savings Bank has a strong focus on providing accessible and user-friendly banking services.

The bank has introduced cutting-edge digital tools, including its 24/7 chatbot, “Talk to Maria,” which allows customers to easily access support anytime.

Additionally, the bank’s mobile app simplifies account management and loan applications, especially catering to schoolteachers. These initiatives exemplify City Savings Bank's commitment to offering a seamless, customer-first banking experience.

Meanwhile, EastWest Bank (EWB) also garnered significant recognition at the forum, earning the prestigious Banking Visionary Award. As a full-service universal bank, EastWest Bank has continually demonstrated its dedication to innovation and industry leadership.

The bank’s ambitious transformation project to modernize its core architecture in the cloud underscores its focus on enhancing business processes and improving customer satisfaction.

This forward-thinking approach builds on the bank's prior successes in digital payments and mobile banking solutions, cementing its role as a trailblazer in the Philippine financial sector.

Other notable winners at the forum include Bank Syariah Indonesia, LOLC Cambodia, and Affin Bank, highlighting the diverse range of banking institutions that have embraced technological advances across the region.
