DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE SIGNS UP 8 PARTNERS FOR E-KADIWA MARKETING INITIATIVE

The Deparment of Agriculture has signed up six merchants and two logistics providers for the agency’s e-Kadiwa marketing initiative that links up the farmers and fishermen to the consumers.

Launched only last May 4, Agriculture Secretary  William Dar said the digital platform” allows consumers to purchase goods in the comfort and safety of their own homes.”

The new e-Kadiwa partners are Farmshare Pime, Livegreen International Inc., Farmfetch Inc., Banwa Farms/Cultigen Corp, RAM Foods Corp., and Ablayan Trading which are now partners of the agency for the e-Kadiwa which directly connects farmers and buyers.

Alongside the six new merchants, Lalamove and Grab Express have also joined the initiative as logistics partners, with the guarantee of timely delivery of vegetables, fruits, and other agri-fishery products.

Dar said the new platform incorporates innovative strategies to provide an easier and safer way for farmers, fishers, and other agripreneurs to sell their produce.
