This October 16 to 17, 2025, the Digital Marketing Association of the Philippines (DMAP) sets the stage for its landmark 10th edition of the Digital Congress (DigiCon), gathering more than 2,000 marketers, strategists, technologists, and business leaders at the Manila Marriott Hotel under one powerful theme: “The Age of ‘I’: Personalization in a Connected World.”

Cracking the Code of Personalization: DMAP DigiCon Marks a Decade of Digital Innovation.

Celebrating a decade of pushing boundaries in digital engagement, DMAP—formerly known as IMMAP—has become the nation’s nerve center for digital excellence.

With over 250 members spanning agencies, enablers, and brand custodians, DMAP continues to shape the country’s digital marketing frontier. This year’s DigiCon promises to be more than just a conference; it will be a compass for navigating the next chapter of customer experience in an AI-powered, data-rich landscape.

“We are entering an era where personalization is paramount,” said DigiCon 2025 Chair Alan Fontanilla.

“This year’s theme celebrates the transformative power of technology to create unique, meaningful connections with customers. Brands must now master how to cultivate personal experiences in a connected world—because that’s what drives loyalty, relevance, and long-term success.”

The two-day convention features five laser-focused tracks—Data Science and Analytics, Digital Commerce and Retail, Digital Brand Building, Business Transformation, and Innovation—geared toward empowering attendees with future-ready insights.

Through immersive sessions, case studies, and practical workshops, participants will gain tools to decode shifting consumer behavior, elevate digital storytelling, and drive ROI through personalization at scale.

The Business Imperative of Personalization

The conference’s central theme is backed by hard data. According to McKinsey, personalization is not merely a tactic but a driver of growth: companies with advanced personalization strategies generate 40% more revenue than their peers.

Further, 71% of consumers expect businesses to offer personalized interactions—and 76% become frustrated when those expectations fall short. In today’s digital terrain, personalization isn’t optional. It’s fundamental.

Filipino consumers, in particular, are among the most connected in the world, and their behaviors are rapidly evolving. This makes the stakes even higher for brands that wish to remain relevant.

As DMAP President Miko David emphasized, “Digital marketers must possess new levels of expertise and adaptability. DMAP is committed to providing the critical insights and skills necessary to thrive in an era of hyper-personalization. We’re building an ecosystem where innovation flourishes, and professionals are equipped to lead digital engagement.”

A Culture of Innovation, A Mission to Future-Proof

Over the last decade, DigiCon has consistently showcased the latest tools and technologies shaping the marketing landscape—from AI-powered ad targeting to omnichannel brand storytelling. But 2025’s edition signals a turning point: a shift from mere digital proficiency to intelligent, emotionally resonant engagement.

In a connected world where consumers interact with brands across dozens of touchpoints—from apps to AR experiences to social media—the key is coherence.

Research from Dimension Data reveals that 92% of customers are more loyal to companies that provide consistent experiences. Inconsistent messaging or disjointed journeys are not just missed opportunities—they're brand risks.

Moreover, emotionally connected customers are more than twice as valuable to brands, according to studies by the Harvard Business Review.

Experiential marketing, whether digital or physical, leaves lasting impressions that no banner ad ever could. DigiCon 2025 dives into how brands can blend emotion, data, and context to stand out in an increasingly noisy marketplace.

Why DigiCon Matters More Than Ever

The flip side is stark. Research by PwC shows that 59% of consumers will abandon a brand after just a handful of poor experiences.

A single missed opportunity—an irrelevant email, a lagging chatbot, a tone-deaf post—can set off a chain reaction of disengagement. In today’s ultra-competitive environment, brands don’t get many second chances.

DigiCon’s forward-thinking agenda recognizes this urgency.

By equipping marketers with the right tools—from predictive analytics to real-time feedback systems—the conference aims to move the industry from reactive to proactive, ensuring that brands don’t just speak to customers but resonate with them.

As AI and machine learning continue to shape customer expectations and decision-making processes, DigiCon 2025 offers a rare convergence of global thought leaders and local trailblazers. It’s a vital moment for marketers to reflect, recalibrate, and reimagine the future of engagement in an economy driven by intent and individuality.
