Dozens of female Mossad operatives penetrated Iran and carried out operations during Israel’s attacks on Tehran’s nuclear and ballistic missile programs in June, Yonah Jeremy Bob reported for The Jerusalem Post.

According to the Post, Mossad director David Barnea sees women’s contributions to the Israel-Iran war as substantial.
While the specifics remain classified, in 2024 a senior female Mossad agent known only as “G”—an Iranian-born officer with expertise in Iran and in recruiting spies in hostile countries—was honored by lighting a torch at Israel’s Independence Day ceremony.
Barnea deployed hundreds of Mossad agents and their managed assets into operations in Iran simultaneously.
These groups, drawn from varied backgrounds, were highly coordinated.
Michael Bar-Zohar and Nissim Mishal’s 2021 book The Mossad Amazons described earlier generations of female agents as not only seducing male officials and conducting surveillance on nuclear sites, but also executing kinetic and other attacks.
Today, the Post suggested, Mossad’s women are carrying out an even broader range of undercover roles compared to their predecessors.
