Emperador Inc., a leading global brandy and whisky conglomerate, has expanded its premium product portfolio with the majority acquisition of Destilería Los Danzantes S.A. de C.V. through its Mexican subsidiary, Casa Pedro Domecq.

Los Danzantes owns the premium mezcal brands Los Danzantes and Alipus, both of which have been ranked among the top 10 best-selling and top 10 trending mezcal brands in industry surveys in recent years.
These products are exported to over 20 countries and are featured in many of the world’s top bars. Casa Pedro Domecq acquired a 60% stake in Los Danzantes for 80 million Mexican pesos.
