A Berlin-based cocktail company has released a magic bottle into the world, which when uncorked, fills your nose with scent of freshly baked cookies - and will warm you up from the inside if you take a sip out of it. Yes, cookie dough-infused rum is real, Deutsche Presse-Agentur (dpa) reported.

According to Drink Syndikat, a distillate of real cookie dough, vanilla beans and caramel is used with the rum sourced from Panama and Barbados to create the spirit. Both rums were previously aged in white oak barrels for at least eight years, according to the company.
The company recommends enjoying the rum as an after-dinner drink all on its own, paired with a dessert, or served with some espresso. Then there's the recipe for a Cookie Dough Old Fashioned, which combines the rum with salty espresso syrup, a hazelnut brandy and falernum, a syrup liqueur that originates from the Caribbean. Who needs to turn on the oven when you can sip on such a nice treat?
Drink Syndikat is also selling the rum as part of a cocktail box featuring two other drinks besides the Old Fashioned, temptingly called the Late Night Cookie Daiquiri and the Cookies N'Banana. The box has everything you need, besides the fresh fruit, to throw together the perfect holiday tipple and comes right to your door. The rum costs about 35 euros ($43) for 500 milliliters.
