Ex-Chief Of Jewish Agency Raps Bennett For Being Scared Of Putin
Former Jewish Agency chairman Natan Sharansky is adding more problems for Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, saying Bennett is “scared stiff” of Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin and would not want to provide weapons worth billions of US dollars to Ukraine.

In a story written by Sam Sokol for the Israeli newspaper Haaretz on April 7, 2022, Sharansky condemned Bennett for lawyering for Russia by being strict on migration by Ukrainian Jews and allowing the export of spyware to Moscow.
Sharansky said Israel should give defensive arms to Ukraine and it will pay a price in the free world for failing to take a clear moral stance against Russian war crimes in Ukraine. He tagged Putin as a “criminal” who should be clapped behind bars.
The ex-Jewish Agency head was imprisoned by the Soviet authorities for nearly a decade during the late 1970s and early 1980s due to his human rights activism, accused senior Israeli officials of seizing on “pretexts” to avoid condemning Russia’s aggression in the land of his birth.
