A scathing 115-page report on the state of the FBI under Kash Patel has exposed turmoil and friction as agents turn on him — and even Trump administration allies admit he is out of his depth, Brittany Chain reported for the UK Daily Mail.

The bombshell report, written by an alliance of active-duty and retired agents who railed against former President Joe Biden’s DEI policies, described the FBI as “a rudderless ship” and “all f**ked up” under Patel.

Barely six months into the job, Patel has already been mired in controversy over his use of a government jet to visit his country singer girlfriend, Alexis Wilkins, and his astonishing decision to assign a SWAT team to protect her.

The new dossier, obtained by the New York Post's Miranda Devine, detailed a tantrum Patel allegedly threw after the assassination of Charlie Kirk.

Patel flew into Provo, Utah, on Sept. 11, the day after the killing, and refused to “disembark from the plane without an FBI raid jacket.”

He was so concerned about the optics that he pulled Salt Lake City FBI field agents from the investigation and ordered them to find him medium-sized outerwear.

Agents tracked down a jacket he could wear, but it belonged to a female agent. Members of an FBI SWAT team then removed patches from their uniforms and brought them to Patel to calm his outburst.

Only then did he leave the plane.

The alliance revealed that sources who contributed to the report — and who openly support Trump — described Patel as “not very good” and said he “may be insecure.”

Patel, a MAGA loyalist who once said he would shut down the FBI building on day one and accused the bureau of being part of the “Deep State,” was appointed after a 51–49 vote and a blistering battle between Democrats and Republicans.

His appointment was one of several controversial Trump nominees confirmed along party lines as Republicans held enough seats to accomplish this without bipartisan support.

Patel succeeded Christopher Wray, whom Trump also nominated during his first term before turning on him. Patel began his career as a public defender and later worked as a prosecutor in the Justice Department before serving as a senior aide to the House Intelligence Committee under then-chairman Devin Nunes.
