This innovative format combines Jollibee, Mang Inasal, Greenwich, and Chowking into a single kitchen.
The streamlined ordering process allows customers to "Mix and Match your favorites" from the four brands without needing to queue and pay separately, as disclosed by DoubleDragon to the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE).
Edgar Injap Sia II, Chairman of DoubleDragon, highlighted that this new Multi-Brand format is expected to enhance the community-centered concept of CityMall. He anticipates the format's expansion across all CityMalls in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
Additionally, Sia confirmed that DoubleDragon will open its 50th CityMall in Antique in the second half of 2024. This milestone will make DoubleDragon the 3rd largest mall developer in the Philippines by the end of the year.
With a network of 50 CityMalls strategically positioned in provincial areas, DoubleDragon aims to achieve optimal market relevance by 2025.
Over less than a decade, DoubleDragon has developed over 1.3 million square meters of a diversified asset portfolio. This includes provincial community malls, office buildings in Metro Manila, hotels both domestically and internationally, and warehouse complexes across the Philippines.
Sia emphasized DoubleDragon’s commitment to operating modern community malls in the countryside, in areas such as Cotabato City, Koronadal City, Dipolog City in Zamboanga Del Norte, and Isulan Sultan Kudarat, stimulating local economies.
DoubleDragon is one of the few companies with commercial investments extending to regions as far as Basilan Sulu in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region, he added.
