Ford is recalling over 850,000 vehicles in the United States due to a defect in the low-pressure fuel pump that could lead to engine stalls while driving—raising the risk of crashes, the Associated Press reported.

The recall affects a wide array of Ford and Lincoln models from recent years, including Ford Broncos, Explorers, and F-150s, as well as Lincoln Aviators and Navigators, according to documents from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
Ford has notified affected owners by mail, warning them about the potential safety risk.
However, the company has yet to finalize a fix. Owners will receive a second letter once a remedy is available, instructing them to bring their vehicles to a dealership for the repair at no cost.
