Ginebra San Miguel Inc. (GSMI), the hard liquor arm of San Miguel Corporation (SMC) and producer of the world’s largest-selling gin, celebrates its 190th year in 2024 with a 17% surge in consolidated revenues to PHP15.1 billion compared to the same period in 2023.

The company disclosed to the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) that its robust first-quarter performance sustained its momentum of continuous growth over the last ten years and further strengthened GSMI’s leading position in the market.
GSMI also reported PHP2.3 billion in income from operations, highlighting a 40% increase from last year.
Its net income of PHP1.9 billion, however, is 25% lower compared to the previous year due to a one-time income in March 2023. Excluding this one-time gain, net income would have been higher by 38%.

As part of the flagship brand's 190th-anniversary celebration, GSMI has lined up major activities such as the month-long celebration of World Gin Day in June and the “Ginumanfest” concerts featuring top musical artists and GSMI brand ambassadors.
