Huawei’s resurgence in the premium market has been fueled by its re-entry into the 5G smartphone segment, helping the Chinese smartphone market head toward its first annual growth in five years.
Huawei also dominates the foldable smartphone category, shipping 1.12 million units during the quarter—an impressive 97% year-on-year increase—outpacing rivals such as Honor, Vivo, Xiaomi, and Samsung.
