Iran opened its third military training center in Tehran as authorities announced plans to train one million paramilitary volunteers nationwide, amid fears of renewed conflict with the United States and Israel, The Associated Press (AP) reported.

Members of the Basij, a paramilitary force affiliated with Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), attended the opening, according to the semiofficial ISNA news agency.
Two similar training centers opened in Tehran in August and September.
The latest facility is part of a broader effort to organize civilian volunteers for military training as tensions with Washington and Israel remain high.
