Iran’s Defense Ministry says it has developed more than 1,000 types of domestically produced weapons, including missiles, drones, and other military systems, Rashid Haddou reported for ABC News.

The ministry’s spokesperson, Reza Talaei-Nik, said on state television that these capabilities stem from more than 25 years of investment in Iran’s defense sector, with roughly 9,000 companies involved in production.
While the United States says it has significantly degraded Iran’s missile capabilities, Talaei-Nik claimed that a “significant portion” remains unused.
Some analysts also suggest Iran has been able to produce weapons at lower cost compared to the US, though such comparisons vary widely depending on methodology.
