Iranian officials say a ceasefire arrangement involving Tehran and Washington applies to all regional fronts, including Lebanon, amid escalating tensions involving Israel and Hezbollah, the Israel Haaretz Daily reported.

Iranian state media reported that negotiations with the United States may be suspended in response to continued Israeli military operations in Lebanon and Gaza.

According to Iranian sources cited by regional media, Tehran has conditioned the resumption of talks on a halt to Israeli military activity in both Lebanon and Gaza.

European officials have expressed concern over the escalation.

The British foreign secretary warned that recent developments risk undermining diplomatic efforts, while Germany described Israel’s continued operations in southern Lebanon as “cause for serious concern.”

Analysts note that while the immediate conflict appears localized in Lebanon, broader regional tensions involving Iran, Israel, and the United States continue to shape diplomatic stability in the Middle East.
