Her impressive career trajectory spans sectors such as marketing, construction, mining, finance, and public service, highlighting her versatility and leadership prowess.


One of Defensor's notable achievements is the establishment of Island Pacific Global, Inc., a strategic initiative aimed at providing back-office support to U.S.-based Island Pacific Supermarkets.



This initiative not only enhanced the company's financial performance but also contributed to supporting local industries in the Philippines, showcasing Defensor's commitment to fostering economic growth and sustainability.


Defensor's extensive background in public service further underscores her dedication to creating a positive societal impact.



During her tenure as the Representative for the Third District of Quezon City in the Philippines House of Representatives, she advocated for anti-discrimination measures in the workplace and championed anti-trust legislation to promote fair business competition.


Her academic credentials, including studies in Economics at prestigious institutions like the University of the Philippines and Harvard University, along with her involvement in esteemed organizations like the Harvard Club of the Philippines, reflect her commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
