Jurassic World Rebirth, from Comcast’s Universal Pictures, roared to the top of the global box office, notching the biggest opening of 2025 and continuing a strong summer run for Hollywood.

Warner Bros. Discovery’s A Minecraft Movie remains the highest-grossing film of the year with $423.9 million domestically. F1: The Movie, a co-production by Warner Bros. and Apple Original Films, ranked second in its second weekend with $25 million.
How to Train Your Dragon (DreamWorks/Universal) placed third with $11 million for a cumulative $224 million, while Disney Pixar’s Elio earned $5.7 million for a total of $55.1 million in its third weekend.
