Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), a prominent MAGA loyalist, has lashed out at President Trump for his recent embrace of imperialistic policies, accusing him of abandoning the “America First” ideals of the movement, Alex Henderson reported for AlterNet.

Trump has floated controversial proposals to annex Canada, Greenland, and the Panama Canal, and has reportedly supported new military action against Iran. Greene, once a staunch ally, expressed outrage on X (formerly Twitter), saying the base is “not happy” with what she sees as a betrayal of anti-war promises.
Greene also slammed a newly reported U.S.-Ukraine minerals deal and repeated conspiracy theories about vaccine safety and Ukrainian corruption. “When you are losing MTG, you are losing the base,” she warned.
“Trump isn’t on the ballot in the future—so do the math.”
