According to a report from The Information, Musk's email to senior managers outlined the termination of Rebecca Tinucci, senior director of Tesla's Supercharger business, and Daniel Ho, head of the new vehicles program.

Additionally, Musk intends to terminate all employees working under Tinucci and Ho, including approximately 500 employees in the Supercharger group.

The report also noted the dissolution of Tesla's public policy team, formerly led by executive Rohan Patel, who had already left the company along with battery development chief Drew Baglino earlier in the month.

Musk emphasized the necessity for stringent cost reduction measures in his email, reflecting the company's commitment to addressing its financial challenges. Tesla had a global workforce of 140,473 employees as of the end of 2023, according to Reuters.
