Netflix Rises 4.5% After Beating Q3 Subscriber Targets

Netflix shares listed in Frankfurt rose by 4.5% in early trading after the US streaming service announced that new third-quarter subscribers had surpassed Wall Street estimates by 1 million, Lucy Raitano reported for Reuters.


Netflix reported 5.1 million new streaming subscribers in the third quarter.



Netflix reported 5.1 million new streaming subscribers in the third quarter and said it expects higher customer growth around the holidays with the return of the Korean drama Squid Game.


Shares rose 3% in after-hours trading on Thursday after closing the regular trading session at $687.65, down 2%.
