Around 150 residents from the northern Israeli town of Kiryat Shmona traveled to Jerusalem to protest a ceasefire with Hezbollah, the Associated Press (AP) reported.

The 10-day ceasefire, announced by U.S. President Donald Trump, began Friday and is intended to support a broader de-escalation involving Iran.
Residents who have endured repeated rocket fire from Hezbollah expressed frustration, arguing that the group remains a threat.
“It’s time to remove this danger from over the heads of northern residents,” said Mayor Avichai Stern. Protesters said they fear the ceasefire leaves their communities vulnerable.
