Nvidia CEO: China AI Market Could Hit $50 Billion

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said China’s AI chip market could reach $50 billion within a few years and warned that US restrictions on exports to China would be a “tremendous loss” for American industry, Bloomberg’s Ian King reported.

In a CNBC interview, Huang emphasized that allowing US firms access to China would bring revenue, taxes, and jobs back to the United States. He argued that tightening export controls will hurt American competitiveness and national security, not protect it.
Nvidia recently took a $5.5 billion writedown tied to its H20 chip, a downgraded processor meant for China that now requires special regulatory approval before shipment.
“Let us get the American AI out in front of everybody right now,” Huang said.
