The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) has strengthened its support for the government’s healthcare initiatives with a ₱141 million donation of Patient Transport Vehicles (PTVs) to the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) for distribution to beneficiaries across the country.

The partnership between the two government agencies was formalized with the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) at the PAGCOR Corporate Office in Pasay City.
The donation covers 70 fully equipped PTVs to be distributed by PCSO to qualified local government units (LGUs) to enhance access to emergency medical transport and healthcare services, particularly in far-flung and underserved areas.
Each PTV unit comes with a GPS navigation system, stretcher, medical oxygen, wheelchair, and first aid kit — ensuring safe and efficient patient transfer during emergencies.
In his message during the signing ceremony, PAGCOR Chairman and CEO Alejandro H. Tengco said the ₱141 million donation underscores the agency’s full support for President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s efforts to strengthen the country’s health and emergency response system.
“These vehicles are not mere means of transport — they are lifelines that can spell the difference between life and death for those who need immediate medical attention,” Mr. Tengco said.
“By combining PAGCOR’s resources with PCSO’s long-standing experience in health-related programs, we can reach more communities and save more lives.”
Tengco also thanked PCSO General Manager Melquiades Robles and his team for their collaboration.
“Simula pa lang ito ng ating pagtutulungan, at nawa’y maipadama natin ang pagkalinga at mga biyayang pareho nating pinaniniwalaang makakatulong sa bawat mamamayang Pilipino,” he said.
[“This is just the beginning of our collaboration, and may we be able to share the care and blessings that we both believe will help every Filipino,” he said.]
The 70-unit donation forms part of PAGCOR’s broader commitment to provide a total of 246 PTVs to local government units, hospitals, and frontline agencies nationwide.
Since February this year, PAGCOR has already distributed 60 PTV units to various beneficiary institutions and agencies.
