PHINMA's Philcement And Anflo Group To Build Modern Cement Plant In Davao del Norte

PHINMA Corporation’s subsidiary Philcement Corp. has partnered with Anflo Group Management and Investment Company (ANFLOCOR) to establish a state-of-the-art cement manufacturing plant in Davao del Norte.

The joint venture strengthens the longstanding business ties between the del Rosarios of PHINMA and the Floirendos of ANFLOCOR, bolstering infrastructure development and economic progress in the region.


The facility, to be operated by Philcement Mindanao Corp., a 70% Philcement Corp. and 30% ANFLOCOR venture, aims to provide quality cement to support Mindanao's development.



This plant, expected to be operational by 2026, will have a production capacity of two million metric tons per year.


Eduardo A. Sahagun, President of PHINMA Construction Materials Group, emphasized the importance of construction materials for housing and infrastructure, noting that this partnership would significantly benefit Mindanaoans.



Ricardo F. Lagdameo, President of ANFLOCOR Real Estate and Construction Group, expressed excitement about the collaboration, highlighting the region’s growth and demand for high-quality cement.


PHINMA Chairman and CEO Ramon del Rosario reiterated the company's commitment to infrastructure development, welcoming the deepened partnership with the Floirendos.
