PHP8.5-B Clark National Food Hub To Rise As PH’s Market Of Top-Quality Products

The Clark International Airport Corp. (CIAC) is set to establish the Clark National Food Hub, envisioned as the country's premier wholesale market and distribution center for high-value and top-quality food products.

CIAC President and CEO, Mr. Arrey Perez, participated in a market-sensing mission in Amsterdam, Netherlands, and engaged with officials from the Netherlands’ Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality on efficient food hub management.

The Philippine delegation learned about the importance of timely delivery and modern, technology-assisted logistics management from Dutch officials, including Michiel Sweers, Director-General for Foreign Economic Relations, who highlighted the Netherlands' excellence in agrologistics and trade facilitation.

The PHP8.5 billion project will span 60 hectares within the Clark Civil Aviation Complex and aims to become a key component of the envisioned Airport City, contributing significantly to national development.
