A new CBS News-YouGov poll shows most Americans favor ending the Iran conflict despite reservations about the agreement.

The survey found that 78% of Americans favor ending the conflict immediately, while only 22% believe military operations should continue until Iran makes additional concessions.

When respondents were asked to evaluate the agreement itself, only 22% said it favored the United States, while 37% believed it benefited Iran more. Another 41% said the agreement treated both countries equally.

Among Republicans, only 39% believed the agreement favored the United States.

The poll also found that Americans believe, by a 45% to 29% margin, that the war has not been strategically successful.
