President Marcos Jr. Urges BangsaMoro Police Graduates To Prioritize Regional Security

Speaking in Filipino, President Marcos challenged the graduates to seek solutions that would bring lasting peace to a region historically plagued by internal conflicts that hinder its economic potential.

Addressing the Alpha-Bravo graduates of Batch 23-01, President Marcos expressed his full support for their efforts in promoting peace, emphasizing the vital role of regional stability in unlocking the economic prosperity of Mindanao, known as the country's food basket.

He acknowledged that many of the graduates hailed from former military groups such as the MNLF and MILF, highlighting their unique perspectives and experience in contributing to peacebuilding efforts.

President Marcos commended the significance of the name chosen by the graduates, "Bakas-Lipi" or BangsaMorong Kapulisan, Sandigan ng Lipunang Pilipino, as emblematic of the government's commitment to peace in Mindanao.

He praised their dedication to raising the standards of their service and urged them to leverage their platform as police officers to lay the groundwork for lasting peace in the region.

Asserting his belief in the interconnectedness of national and regional development, President Marcos emphasized that the success of BangsaMoro would pave the way for a new era of progress for the entire country.
