The Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSE) fell by 43.33 points, or 0.68%, to close at 6,364.94 on profit-taking after an early rally that pushed the benchmark to an intraday high of 6,448.02—its best level of the day, but also the springboard for broad-based selling.
