The $PSE:PSEI ends the week, essentially flat, as it closes at 7272.80. For this upcoming shortened trading week, we may have some opportunities but don't expect too much.
The moving averages are still confirming the uptrend the index is performing while the MACD is showing us that the current short term trend may have weakened.
Although the $PSEI is trading between 7100 to 7300 for the past week, it seems that the index is struggling to break through the 7300 level convincingly. It may be nothing as there's essentially only 5 trading days left for the year and we may hope for more strength in the index come January. - Bonner Dytoc
