PSE WEEKLY TECHNICAL ANALYSIS FOR JAN. 11 - 15, 2021

The $PSE:PSEI ended in the green as it finished the week nearing the 7300 level at 7289.88. A good end to the first week of 2021.

The 50-day moving average continues to be the first support at 6924 while the longer term MAs also continue to support. The MACD lines continue to give a bearish divergence since November, which should be considered in order to prepare ourselves for any eventuality.

Although the week ended bullishly, let's still be cautious as we aren't in the clear yet. There are some opportunities, but be selective and don't be too greedy in thinking of what level to take profits.
