Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani condemned Israel’s strike in Doha that targeted Hamas leaders, calling it “barbaric” and “state terror,” Max Saltman and colleagues reported for CNN.

Al-Thani said the attack destroyed any chance of freeing hostages held in Gaza. “I was meeting one of the hostage’s families the morning of the attack. They have no other hope. What Netanyahu has done yesterday, he just killed any hope for those hostages,” he told CNN.
