Remittances Hit Record $35.63-B

Overseas Filipino cash remittances reached a record $3.52 billion in December 2025, bringing full-year inflows to an all-time high of $35.63 billion, up 3.3% from $34.49 billion in 2024.

The total represented 7.3% of gross domestic product and 6.4% of gross national income.


The United States remained the top source of remittances, followed by Singapore and Saudi Arabia.


Personal remittances — including money sent through banks, informal channels, and in kind — climbed to a record $3.89 billion in December. For the full year, they rose 3.3% to $39.62 billion from $38.34 billion previously.
