Robinsons Hotels & Resorts Partners With Hira Holdings To Launch First Luxury Villa On Siargao Island


Robinsons Hotels and Resorts (RHR) is set to establish a world-class, eco-friendly villa resort on the globally renowned Siargao Island by 2026, in partnership with Hira Holdings Inc.

The project, located in Brgy. Malinao, General Luna, will span 2,856 square meters and showcase the unique Filipino brand of hospitality, according to a disclosure made by RHR to the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE).


The Robinsons-Hira partnership will be governed by a ten-year Management Agreement.



Mr. Barun Jolly, Senior Vice President and Business Unit Head of Robinsons Hotels & Resorts, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating, “We are delighted to have this meaningful partnership with Hira Holdings Inc., a company that shares the same values as RHR.


This partnership signifies a step forward in our mission to expand geographically while maintaining our commitment to exceptional service and sustainable practices.”

We are confident in the Robinsons Hotels brands and capabilities, which made it easy for us to trust and sign with them for our very first hotel. We look forward to building more projects together in the future.”


Siargao Island, famous for its world-class surfing spots, has experienced significant growth in tourism in recent years.



In 2023, the island recorded as many as 529,822 tourist arrivals, making it an ideal location for RHR's newest luxury venture.


Mr. Jolly emphasized that this project will enhance RHR’s growing hotel portfolio, which currently includes 30 hotels strategically located across the Philippines under five local brands: Go Hotels, Go Hotels Plus, Summit Hotels and Resorts, Grand Summit Hotels, and Fili Hotel.



“We are confident in the bullish economic outlook for the country, and with our expertise in hotel brand development, we aim to empower optimistic investors who want to venture into the hospitality industry,” he added.
