Russia has threatened to launch a new wave of “systematic strikes” on Kyiv days after carrying out one of its largest attacks on the Ukrainian capital since the start of the war, BBC News reported.

The Russian foreign ministry said planned targets include “decision-making centers,” command posts, and drone manufacturing facilities. Moscow also urged foreign nationals and diplomats to leave Kyiv immediately.
Ukraine condemned the threats as “shameless blackmail” and urged allies to increase pressure on Russia.
Russian officials said recent strikes were in response to alleged Ukrainian attacks on a student dormitory in Starobilsk, which they claimed resulted in multiple casualties.
Ukraine said Russian strikes on Kyiv have continued regularly since the start of the war and warned that the security threat remains severe.
