Samsung, the Korean electronics giant, has expressed keen interest in contributing to the Philippines' digitalization efforts by offering its business-to-business (B2B) solutions.

Chu Minsu, President of Samsung Electronics Philippines Corporation, highlighted the company's strong lineup of B2B solutions that align with the requirements of both public and private sectors in embracing digitalization.
"We are working with the Philippines where there are a lot of projects. Number one, digitalization. We can contribute to nation-building about digitalization with our product and services," Chu stated.
He mentioned ongoing collaborations with the Department of Education (DepEd) and various local government units (LGUs) across the country.

Chu emphasized that the demand for Samsung's B2B solutions in the Philippine market is nearly equivalent to its business-to-consumer (B2C) unit, underscoring the significance of its B2B offerings.
The company currently operates six business units in the Philippines, including Samsung Electronics, Electro-Mechanics (manufacturing electronic components), logistics arm Samsung SDS, marketing arm Cheil, construction and engineering arm Samsung C&T Corp., and the Samsung Electronics Software R&D Center for research and development.
Samsung sees promising opportunities in the Philippine manufacturing sector, considering it as a potential site for future expansion.
"If we want to expand our manufacturing site further and more, then definitely Philippines might be one of the considerations," Chu concluded.
Samsung's interest in supplying the Philippines' digitization needs underscores the country's growing importance in the global tech landscape and its potential as a hub for technological innovation and development.
