Saudi Arabia strongly condemned Iranian attacks on the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, and Jordan, all of which host US military, air force, and naval forces, Fatme Khaled reported for the Associated Press (AP) on Feb. 28, 2026.

The kingdom warned of the “dire consequences of the continued breach of countries’ sovereignty and the violation of international principles.”
Riyadh did not criticize Israel and the US, both of which allegedly planned the attacks for months while publicly pursuing peace talks with Iran.
Saudi Arabia also called on the international community to take measures to confront Iran’s attacks, which it said were undermining the stability and security of the region. Iran said that by abandoning an earlier agreement on Iran’s nuclear program, US President Donald Trump worsened tensions in the Middle East.
