The surreal event blended elements of a policy forum, podcast taping, and political rally, Fortune Tech's Sharon Goldman reported.
Seated on plush white chairs backed by American flags, dramatic music, and flashy videos of data centers and manufacturing hubs, Sacks and his podcast “besties” interviewed surprise guests and enthusiastically promoted the new policy just hours after its unveiling.
Guests included Vice President JD Vance, White House Office of Science and Technology Policy Director Michael Kratsios, and tech industry leaders, including Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang.

As AI czar, Sacks led the plan’s development and outlined its three main pillars: accelerating innovation, building U.S. AI infrastructure, and asserting global leadership in AI diplomacy and security.
“The consequences of losing the AI race are unthinkable,” Sacks told the audience.
