Skydance Shares Fall After Paramount–Warner Bros. Merger

The transaction closed on October 6, 2026, bringing together major film studios, streaming services and television networks, including Paramount, Warner Bros., CBS and CNN.

The combined company began trading on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol SKYD.

Skydance shares fell during early trading following the merger.

However, reports reviewed showed differing declines, and the draft's specific figure of nearly 7% on Wednesday could not be independently confirmed.
