SMC ISSUING $500-M SECURITIES

San Miguel Corporation (SMC) has disclosed today that it  will be issuing US$500 Million Senior Perpetual Capital Securities (the “Securities”) with a fixed initial distribution rate of 5.500% per annum.  

The Securities will be issued under the company’s US$3 Billion Medium Term Note and Securities Programme and will be listed on the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited. For the aforementioned issuance of Securities, the company has engaged (i) BofA Securities, DBS Bank Ltd. and Standard Chartered Bank as joint lead managers; (ii) DB Trustees (Hong Kong) Limited as trustee; and (iii) Deutsche Bank AG, Hong Kong Branch as paying agent.  


The appropriate disclosure will be made upon the issuance of the Securities.
