SoftBank Explores Metal-Free Batteries as Tech Industry Faces Supply Chain Shifts

SoftBank is working to develop lithium- and cobalt-free batteries for its data centers, as Japan seeks to reduce reliance on Chinese-sourced metals, Andrew Nusca reported for Fortune Tech.
