STARLUX Airlines Brings Snoopy to the Skies

Snoopy fans, buckle up—Taiwan’s premier luxury airline, STARLUX Airlines, is taking its wildly successful PEANUTS™-themed inflight experience beyond Asia and across the Pacific.

Beginning May 28, 2025, the boutique carrier is rolling out “Snoopy is Shooting for the Stars,” a whimsical inflight campaign that reimagines the beloved beagle as an interstellar explorer soaring through the galaxy.


The themed experience will be available on most U.S. routes, except for flights departing from Los Angeles and Ontario, and will run through December 31, 2025.

 

The move marks an expansion of STARLUX’s award-winning 2024 partnership with PEANUTS™, which delighted travelers across Asia with collectible merchandise, themed amenities, and cheerful cabin designs.


Now, with rising demand and enthusiasm from international fans, the airline is giving U.S.-bound passengers a chance to embark on a nostalgic journey—complete with cosmic blue and starlight gold accents, exclusive collectibles, and yes, plenty of Snoopy.

 


The newest inflight experience takes passengers on a galaxy-themed adventure from the moment they check in.


Travelers can look forward to more than 10 specially designed PEANUTS™ items, including collectible boarding passes, themed napkins, cups, luggage tags, and onboard screen visuals—all featuring Snoopy and friends in interstellar attire.



For younger flyers under 12 departing from Taipei, a special Back-to-School Snoopy pouch filled with a telescope, handkerchief, and a card game set will be given starting September, doubling as a travel accessory that makes the journey even more memorable.

 

Passengers and collectors alike can also indulge in exclusive STARLUX x PEANUTS™ merchandise available via inflight duty-free sales, the airline’s online shop, and retail partners such as 7-Eleven and dedicated pop-up stores across Taiwan.

 

Snoopy’s Global Appeal


Snoopy, the daydreaming, adventure-loving beagle from Charles M. Schulz’s Peanuts comic strip, has transcended generations since his debut in 1950. Beloved across cultures and age groups, Snoopy’s star power continues to grow, thanks to new media, global licensing, and partnerships like this one.

 

PEANUTS Worldwide, which manages the rights to the franchise, is a joint venture between WildBrain Ltd. (41%), Sony Music Entertainment Japan (39%), and the Schulz family (20%).


The brand is kept alive not only through its beloved TV specials on Apple TV+ but also through a wide array of consumer goods, attractions, and educational initiatives—including a notable partnership with NASA to promote space exploration among young learners.
